Jeanette Hill SelfieHere is a little about myself:  I attended the University of North Texas and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree along with a Teacher’s Certification, specializing in reading instruction. I also achieved an additional certification in ESL (English as a Second Language). In December of 2006, I earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  Throughout the year I also attend several teacher classes.  I enjoy the challenge of trying the new teaching techniques that I’ve learned.
I have had the pleasure of being married to my wonderful husband, Troy for 17 years. We have two daughters; Mackenzie is our oldest, and our youngest  is Madison
.  Madison is a big Middle Schooler and in the 6th grade.   She is in band and is just starting to learn how to play the Clarinet.  Mackenzie is in 8th grade and is Percussion.  She enjoys going to CHHS every week to go to Percussion Club.  They both enjoy cooking with me! They are starting to cook on their own now too!  They are growing up way too fast. We are very blessed and enjoy each stage of their life.  Being a parent is the best job you could have.
In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, trying new recipes and spending time with my family. I am also learning Spanish.
I teach because I love to watch children as they learn about the world around them. I can’t think of a bigger honor then to be entrusted as the facilitator of this growth. It is so special to be a part of a child’s life in this way.  It’s also great fun to hang out with the kids all day!! I want to thank all the wonderful parents at Bransford.  You truly are the BEST.  Without your support and care our students would not be as great as they are.  I’m so fortunate to work in an environment where this support is so evident.  Here’s to a great year!
